Diners look for photos before they choose. Type a restaurant name into Google and the suggestions fill up with "menu with pictures and prices". Aftertaste gives every dish on your menu its own photo, price and description, on a page guests open by scanning a QR code: no app to download.
Why pictures belong on the menu
- Guests decide faster when they can see the dish instead of decoding its name.
- Fewer "what is that?" questions at the table, which keeps service moving on busy nights.
- A photo helps guests who are new to your cuisine or reading in a second language.
- Your best plates sell themselves: a photo shows what a description can only describe.
How an Aftertaste photo menu works
- Every item gets its own photo, price and description, laid out for a phone screen.
- Guests scan the QR code on the table and the menu opens in their browser.
- Change a price, swap a photo or mark a dish sold out, and the menu updates within seconds.
- Prefer not to open a dashboard? Text the change to your menu number and it updates itself.
- Your name and brand colours on the page, and a QR code generated for you.

Don't have food photos yet?
Phone photos work fine. Shoot each plate near a window in daylight, from slightly above, on a plain surface, and fill the frame with the food. You can start with photos of your best sellers and add the rest as you go. Or send us your email and we will build the first version for you.
Questions
How much does a digital menu with pictures cost?
Aftertaste is $28 a month, priced per two menus. No commissions, per-order fees or setup costs, and it is month to month.
How long does setup take?
Most restaurants finish their first menu in under 30 minutes: add your name and colours, create categories, then add items with photos, descriptions and prices.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. The QR code opens the menu in the phone browser.
Does it work for catering menus?
Yes. Catering menus change by event, and you can update them in seconds instead of resending PDF attachments to clients.
