## Frequently asked questions

Everything else, answered. Still stuck? Email hey@aftertaste.ai and a person replies.

### How long does it take to set up a digital QR menu?

Most restaurants finish their first menu in under 30 minutes. You add your name and colours, create categories, then add items with photos, descriptions and prices. Your QR code generates automatically and the menu is live the moment you publish it.

### Can I update my menu in real time?

Yes. Changes go live immediately — typically within a few seconds. You can mark items unavailable, change prices, add specials or swap photos from any device.

### What's the difference between Aftertaste and a PDF menu?

A PDF is a static file. Aftertaste is a live, structured menu: every item has its own photo and description, the layout is mobile-native, and updates happen instantly.

### How much does a digital QR menu cost?

Aftertaste Digital Menu is $28 per month. No commissions, no per-order fees, no setup costs. All plans are month-to-month.

### Does Aftertaste work for caterers?

Yes, and it suits catering particularly well. Menus change by event, and you can update them in seconds without resending PDF attachments to clients.

### What do I need to get started?

An email address, a browser, and photos of your food. Phone photos work fine. No hardware, no developer, no design software.

### What happens to my menu if I cancel?

Your menu page goes offline and the QR code stops resolving. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate. No cancellation fee.
